Falmouth Cruise Terminal
For a “tiny” island, Jamaica has its fair share of ports that welcome cruise visitors year-round.
There are currently four Jamaica family voyages cruise terminals on the island. One terminal is on the south side, while the three main cruise terminals are on the northern end of the island.
Jamaica Family Voyages Cruise Terminals – Kingston Harbour
Kingston Harbour, located in the capital city of Jamaica, is one of the largest natural harbors in the world. This bustling port is a gateway to the vibrant culture and history of Kingston. Although the terminal is well-equipped to handle large cruise ships, it does not currently welcome the bigger and more popular cruise lines. Instead, this terminal largely welcomes guests on smaller luxury cruise lines.
Visitors can explore the rich heritage of Kingston, including the Bob Marley Museum, Devon House, and the bustling markets.
Cruise Lines Visiting Kingston: Kingston Harbour is currently visited by luxury cruise lines such as Regent Seven Seas.
Jamaica Family Voyages Cruise Terminals – Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal
Ocho Rios, often referred to as “Ochee” by locals, is a picturesque port town on Jamaica’s northern coast. The Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal is known for its proximity to some of Jamaica’s most famous attractions, such as Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, and Mystic Mountain.
The terminal itself is divided into two piers: Turtle Bay Pier and Reynolds Pier (also known as James Bond Pier). Turtle Bay Pier is the main terminal, offering basic services and easy access to the town’s amenities.
Cruise Lines Visiting Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal: Ocho Rios is a popular destination for cruise lines like Carnival Cruise Line, Costa Cruises, Holland America, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Jamaica Family Voyages Cruise Terminals – Falmouth Cruise Terminal
Falmouth Cruise Terminal, officially known as the Historic Falmouth Cruise Port, is located on Jamaica’s northern coast in Trelawny Parish. This modern terminal was built in 2011 and offers a unique blend of Georgian architecture and modern amenities.
The port area is gated and features local shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it a convenient spot for cruise passengers. Falmouth is also a great starting point for excursions to nearby attractions like the Martha Brae River and the Good Hope Estate.
Cruise Lines Visiting Falmouth Cruise Terminal: The Falmouth Cruise Terminal was first built to accommodate Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ships, because the other ports could not host such large vessels.
Consequently, you will find that Royal Caribbean has most family cruises visting this terminal. However, other cruise lines use the port for Jamaica family cruises, including Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Oceania Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Viking Ocean Cruises.
Jamaica Family Voyages Cruise Terminals – Montego Bay Cruise Terminal
Montego Bay, affectionately known as “Mo-Bay,” is Jamaica’s second-largest city and a major tourist destination. The Montego Bay Cruise Terminal, located in the Freeport area, is a bustling hub for cruise passengers.
The terminal offers basic amenities and easy access to the city’s attractions, including Doctor’s Cave Beach, Rose Hall Great House, and the Hip Strip.
Montego Bay is known for its vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches, and rich cultural heritage.
Cruise Lines Visiting Montego Cruise Terminal: Montego Bay is a popular stop for cruise lines such as Carnival Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Cunard Line Cruise.
Jamaica’s cruise terminals offer a diverse range of experiences for families looking to explore the island’s rich culture, history, and natural beauty. Whether you’re docking at Kingston Harbour, Ocho Rios, Falmouth, or Montego Bay, each terminal provides a unique gateway to unforgettable adventures.
