What Jamaica family voyages shore excursions await you on the island?
One thing is certain: there are many fun shore activities to try in Jamaica.
For the three main Jamaican cruise terminals, there are varying activities from which to choose and then there are those that overlap.
The three main cruise terminals in Ocho Rios, Falmouth and Montego Bay are in close proximity to each other. Consequently, your cruise ship may dock in Montego Bay, but you may choose to visit Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios.
The only issue is that it will take a longer ride from the Montego Bay Cruise Terminal to Dunn’s River Falls than you would from the Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal.

Jamaica Family Voyages Shore Excursions Offered by Cruise Lines
I have only listed a handful of shore excursions that you may choose to participate in.
You should know that your cruise line will offer many options for shore activities. Explore those and choose.
However, it is helpful to note that you will be able to find less expensive shore excursions at Jamaican cruise terminals if you choose to book them on your own – when you get off the ship.
Caution: Some shore excursions are best booked with your cruise ship. This is especially true for those excursions that involve many hours. You want to be certain that you do not miss your ship. If you’re with a group excursion booked through the cruise ship, they will wait for you.
If you’re on your own, and are running late, the ship will leave you.
Choose carefully!
For example, if you wish to visit the historic Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay and your ship is docked at the Montego Bay Cruise Terminal, it is quite easier to book your own excursion. Ensure that you do so with a group.
If, howevever, you’re docked at the Ocho Rios Cruise Terminal and there’s a shore excursion to the Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay, you would most certainly book that one with your cruise ship.
